Sydney Thunder WBBL captain Phoebe Litchfield and breakout star Georgia Voll have been named in Australia’s 15-player squad for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, to be held across India and Sri Lanka.
Thunder pair heading to 2025 World Cup
The pair will begin their preparations with three One-Day Internationals against co-hosts India, from September 14-20 before launching into their World Cup opener against New Zealand on October 1.
This is both Litchfield and Voll’s first in a 50-over World Cup squad.

Australia will face each of the other seven nations across the round-robin format, with the top four sides progressing to the semi-finals on 29 and 30 October. The Final will be played on Sunday 2 November.
