VENUE INFORMATION
Cricket Central is located at 161 Silverwater Road, Sydney Olympic Park, 2127.
Cricket Central will offer a variety of seating to patrons, with attendees given the opportunity to get up close and personal with on field seating available in a WBBL first! These seats are limited so get in early as it’s first in best dressed. Grandstand seating will be available on the western hill with plenty of shade to keep you cool. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own camp chairs to get comfortable and enjoy the action.
Great food and drink options will be available at family friendly prices at the onsite café.
Cricket Central welcomes all, however, patrons will be prohibited from entering the ground if they are carrying the following items:
- Glass
- Cans
- Firearms
- Fireworks
- Animals (other than guide dogs or assistance animals)
- Gazebos/marquees
Parking
Cricket Central does offer limited public parking, however, parking is available for $6 per hour at the nearby Sydney Olympic Park P5(a) parking station. There will be two free shuttle bus services to and from Cricket Central on the day. The shuttle services will run from 2:00pm to 7:00pm, with one departing the parking station every 10 minutes. If you require accessible parking, please contact Sydney Thunder Membership Team.
Public transport
Cricket Central is located within 400m of bus stops along Silverwater Road and the ‘Wilson Park Busway’ between Newington Road and Clyde Street. Route numbers include:
- Route 525 – Parramatta to Strathfield via Sydney Olympic Park
- Route 544 – Macquarie Centre to Auburn via Eastwood
Route 525 offers regular bus services to Olympic Park and Parramatta railway station, allowing for connections to wider public transport networks.
