Thunder name squad for first game at Drummoyne Oval

Thunder sit first on the WBBL|10 ladder with five wins, after defeating a rival Sydney Sixer outfit at the SCG on Sunday, while the Scorchers sit in sixth with three wins.

Thunder return to Drummoyne Oval for the first time since WBBL|07 and will play three games at the venue on November 12, 17, and 20.

Speaking on her side’s performance in WBBL|10 to date and their return to Drummoyne to take on the Scorchers, Keightley said:

"We've had good contributions and good partnerships with both bat and ball, which is putting us in really good positions to win games. What I've been really pleased with is when we're under pressure, we're fighting hard and staying in the contest for as long as we can.

"The Scorchers have played some really good cricket. Sophie Devine's always dangerous, Beth Mooney's always consistent and they've got a lot of depth.

"Like every team, you've got to play well, or you could be on the other side and they're no different. That's the challenge for us, to continue our momentum, get in the contest and when we're under pressure and take our opportunities to win the match.

"I'm really excited to see a crowd here to support us at Drummoyne Oval. It's one of those grounds where with the crowd so close, it will have really good atmosphere. 


"The pitch, the outfield, the surroundings and the setting is just amazing. It's a great place to play cricket."
