Hero of the West finalists announced

Sydney Thunder’s ‘Hero of The West’ finalists are in!

Chirag Bansal, Ali Haider, Rob Jobling, Jessica McMillan and Raj Singh have been named as Western Sydney’s top volunteers from across the game.

The ask went out to put forward those who make a significant contribution to their cricketing community for Thunder’s 'Hero of the West' award.

Volunteers are the unsung heroes of our game. A lifeblood of their respective clubs and associations, all going above and beyond to contribute to the cricketing community.

A winner will be announced at Thunder’s ‘Best of the West’ fixture on Monday, January 13.

The inaugural vote last season saw George Greentree crowned Hero of the West after more than 50 years volunteering for Hawkesbury District CA/Freemans Reach CC.
