Sydney Thunder will celebrate the return of the HomeWorld Women’s Thunder Nation Cup with a free launch event at Cricket Central in Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday, March 29.

The launch will feature a 90-minute training session led by Cricket NSW coaches followed by lunch and a panel discussion with Thunder WBBL players and special guests.

A celebration of diversity, inclusion, and belonging – values embedded within Sydney Thunder’s culture – the HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup provides players from multicultural backgrounds with the opportunity to connect, form friendships, and grow community through cricket.
The inaugural women’s event took place in 2023, building on the success of the men’s competition, which has been held annually since 2013.
The HomeWorld Women’s Thunder Nation Cup tournament will take place in September. Individuals can register their interest for the tournament at the launch on March 29.
