Beyond the Bash: Thunder goes global
Georgia Voll, Tahlia Wilson, Hannah Darlington and Anika Learoyd have played key roles in guiding Australia A to back-to-back 50-over fixture wins over England A at Cricket Central.
Voll starred with an unbeaten 137* to steer the side home in the opening match, before Wilson top-scored with 68 to help set up another victory in game two. The Thunder quartet will be out to seal a clean sweep of the one-day series today.
Sammy-Jo Johnson announced her retirement from all forms of cricket, finishing her stellar career as a three-time WBBL champion.

Nathan McAndrew, Jason Sangha and Wes Agar all played a part in South Australia’s Sheffield Shield title triumph, with Sangha delivering a match-winning century in the final against Queensland.
David Warner and Sam Billings are set to kick off their Pakistan Super League (PSL) campaigns this week. Warner will lead the Karachi Kings, with their season opener set for midnight Sunday, while Billings lines up for Lahore Qalandars on Saturday.
Warner and Billings are both fresh from winning Dubai’s International League T20.
